The legendary poet, Mahakavi Kumaran Asan has chosen a very rare subject for his poem. Kumaran Asan spots a dead flower lying on the ground and depicts it with life cycle of human beings. Kumaran Asan makes us aware that the laws of nature are applicable for every living being and we all go through the same fate as the flower.

Oh beautiful flower.
You were glowing like a queen in this world till yesterday..
And today you are lying on the ground…
When I see your plight, I am sure that success is not permanent in this world…
